Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
btw.bio sells two one-time items, the Custom Badge ($7.99) and the Username Token ($9.99), listed in the Shop of your dashboard. They are digital items for your account, not subscriptions, and every feature of the site is free without them. Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), our Merchant of Record, who handles orders, taxes, invoices and refunds. The Donator Badge is not sold: it comes with donations on Buy Me a Coffee, whose refunds Buy Me a Coffee handles. Donator Badges bought before this change stay valid.
2. 14-day refund
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. No questions asked.
3. How to ask for a refund
Write to us from the e-mail address of your account with your username and the order number from your Creem receipt. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
4. After a refund
When a refund or chargeback is approved, the item is removed from your account: your custom badge, your Username Token if it is unused, or the special username it was spent on, or a Donator badge bought before this change. A special username that is taken back stops leading to your profile. When a refunded Buy Me a Coffee donation brings your total under $4.99, the Donator badge it gave is removed. Your profile and everything else stay as they are.
5. Cancellation
Shop items have no recurring payments, so there is nothing to cancel and you will never be charged again. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase by itself: if you are still within 14 days, ask for your refund first. The special usernames of a deleted account are held for 30 days and then become available to others again.
6. Exceptions
We may refuse refunds in cases of fraud or abuse of this policy. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
