1. What we store
Your username, email address, password hash, profile settings, links, widgets and the files you upload.
2. Analytics
Views and link clicks are de-duplicated with a salted hash of the visitor’s IP address that changes every day. We store the country, device type and referring domain — never raw IP addresses for analytics.
3. Security logs
Sign-ins and security events are logged with country and browser for 90 days to protect your account.
4. Files
Uploaded images and videos are stripped of metadata such as GPS location and camera serial numbers.
5. Third parties
Cloudflare hosts btw.bio and provides Turnstile. Live widgets load their data through our server — Discord presence comes from our own Discord bot, other widgets from their provider (for example Steam or GitHub); embeds (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitch) load in sandboxed frames.
6. Cookies
We only use a strictly necessary session cookie and a language preference cookie — no advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You can edit your data, renew your recovery key and delete your account together with all your files at any time from Settings.
